PetNet is a no-kill, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) foster-based animal welfare organization. The primary goals of PetNet are to strengthen the local foster network and minimize the number of pets in shelters and unhealthy living situations. A foster-based program provides several benefits: (1) pets are in a home environment, which is less stressful than life in a shelter; (2) fosters friends really get to know the personality of the pet, to aid in proper placement with adopting families; (3) fosters can begin basic training with the pet making them more adoptable. PetNet operates on donations from the community to help cover costs of food and veterinary care. Like PetNet on Facebook and follow them on Instagram.
